Experiencing the DEEP American South
We’ve been calling Atlanta (Marietta), GA home since our return stateside in August. Atlanta has a DOPE food scene (shout out to Community BBQ, The General Muir, Antico Pizza, Gio’s, Mary Mac’s and Tasty China), southern hospitality, many new friends, family and pup, real good weather, a park to rival that Central one in NYC, and far too many Confederate flags for our taste.
Preparing to embark on adventure
In less than a week, when all the turkey has been spoken for and the pie is gone, Jack and I will road trip West for our soon to be new home of Portland, OR. MAJOR shoutout to N&L Parrish for meeting the OBSCENE 15+ boxes that are currently en route to meet them–we owe you much craft beer, expensive bourbon and good food, and we intend to make good on that just as soon as we get there.
Pacific Northwest meets Midwest by way of DC and Uganda. Needless to say we’re excited about the journey that will take us there.
